Well done to Joy Targett for organising a Christmas Fete at
Cannock Enablement Team. Cannocck Area Office
the event was a brilliant success raising a superb £319.60.
a special mention goes to Carol Dungey
for helping to make some of the cakes and to Joy for
slaving for a whole week to make lots more goodies to sell.

Brain Tumour Awareness Week
1st November to 7th November

BAG PACKING EVENT

We wish to thank all the staff & customers of both
COOP Supermarkets who made our supporters so welcome
The total funds collected came to a fantastic
£431.70p

We pleased to annouce extra bag packing days
at the COOP Supermarket Dolgellau North Wales on
Friday & Saturday 6th/7th November

Our thanks to the COOP Supermarket Tywyn North Wales
who have again allowed our team to Bag Pack
in the lead up to Awareness Week on
Friday & Saturday 30th/31st October

Barsby Leicestershire

We are pleased to have recieved a donation of £200.00
raised by a raffle in memory of Jackie Lovering at
The Barsby Village Feast
We understand that this was a record amount raised, well done to
everyone for their support.

Llwyngwrill Art Club Annual Exhibition

Llwyngwrill Art Group

We wish to say a big thankyou to all the members of
Llwyngwrill Art Club for the fantastic support they have given us
by raising an amazing £426.00 in their Charity Raffle at this years
Annual Exhibition.

First Prize was a 32" x 22" Canvas Print entitled Mawddach Estuary
from The Andrew McCartney Trust Fund Collection.

This was won by Mr C Davies of Llwyngwrill who was thrilled to recieve the
prize on the day.

EVERYONE WHO COMPLETED OUR SECOND ANNUAL WALK
UNDER SUCH DIFFICULT CONDITIONS

Our Sponsored Walk is again around the stunning

LAKE VYRNWY in Powis Mid Wales

on Saturday 06th June 2009

THE EXTRA MILE !!!

Will all walkers who are taking part please be sure to
register by 10.30am at our reception tent located in front of
Severn Trent Water offices, which are near the dam.
Post code Ref SY10 0NA

The walk will again proceed in a clockwise direction with a number
of Water Stations placed around the route.
We are gratefull for a supply of bottled water which is being provided by
Severn Trent Water Ltd.

Also this year Severn Trent Water have kindly allowed us the use of
the stunning Sculpture Park below the lake.This is were the walk will finish
and we shall have a marquee erected to provide
light refreshments for all walkers & helpers.

All the miles completed from the walk will again be pledged to the IBTA 2009 Walk around the World for Brain Tumours which is being supported by 100s of organisations & thousands of people around the globe between 01st January & 07th November 2009

is being held between Sunday 1st November & Saturday 7th November
